One of my favorite courses in Dubai! 😍
One of my favorite courses in Dubai! 😍
Sunday practice session 🏌️♂️
Fantastic course which hosts the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship every year in January with some of the best players in the world! Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose... pretty impressive line up over the last years! I guess that the secret to shooting a good round on this course is to be accurate of the tee as you can quickly have tough lies in the rough or waste areas. Hole 9 and 18 have amazing views with the Falcon style clubhouse in the background. My favorite stretch on this course are holes 10 (tough and narrow par 5), hole 11 (par 4 where you have to cut the corner off the tee) and hole 12 (par 3 over the water which can cause some drama). If you're planning a golf trip, I would recommend to stay at the Westin Hotel as it offers great service, spacious and beautiful rooms and it is located right on the resort. So you literally walk 2 minutes from your room to the 1st tee or driving range!
Another Robert Trent Jones Jr masterpiece! Hogs Head Golf Club has opened a year ago and the conditioning of the golf course is already very impressive. I was lucky enough to play the course twice and once with Robert Trent Jones Jr... he will remember my shot over the clubhouse for a little while ;-) Your opening hole is a generous par 5 that is actually pretty long especially when playing against the wind. Hole #3 is beautiful. It's a par 3 with a ravine crossing it near the green and which forces you to stay right to avoid the hazard. The views on holes 11, 12 and 13 are just stunning: you could jump into the Ocean from the cliffs. All in all, the fairways are generous and the trickiness of the course comes from the slopes in front and on the sides of the huge greens. You really don't want to miss on the wrong side. The clubhouse is beautiful and very modern with an impeccable service! You can stay at the Lodge at Hogs Head which opened a couple of months ago or at the Sea Lodge which is a lovely little boutique hotel. Hogs Head Golf Club will most probably become one of the best golf courses in Ireland and hence in the world. It's just a matter of time. In any case, it is a great addition to Waterville Golf Links located only a couple of minutes away and which is already a Top 100 Golf Course in the World.
What a trip to Waterville! It all started with driving from Cork airport to Waterville through the mountains and forest on tiny roads (...driving on the right makes it even more adventurous). The landscapes were beautiful and as you would expect it you will see thousands of sheeps on the way to Waterville. Let's start with a bit of history... Golf at Waterville was introduced through technology by the men who arrived in 1880 to work on the first transatlantic cable relaying messages between North America and Europe. Waterville Golf Links is one of the finest links courses I've ever played so far and clearly deserves to be ranked in the top 100 of the best golf courses in the world. The course can be stretched to over 7,300 yards and is a real test of golf. Waterville Golf Links was redesigned by Tom Fazio in 2006. The first hole is so difficult that you will respect the course from the first tee on... The back nine is a masterpiece and you will get to play some of the best links holes in the world! Holes 2, 3, 16, 17 and 18 have beautiful views over the Ocean and will make this golf course unforgettable. The clubhouse is very traditional with a nice bar and pro shop. Irish people are very kind and offer great hospitality! So expect friendly service!
Have you ever played golf in snow? Tip: don't wear golf shoes... 😂
Another fabulous golf course! The Algarve is clearly one of the very best golfing destinations! Can’t wait to come back! ☀️⛳️
Good morning from Monte Rei ☀️ #1 golf course in 🇵🇹 Have you played it already? How would you rank it?
Fantastic day with the Legends Scratch Golf Society! Beautiful golf course, nice people and great weather! ☀️
Winter golf ⛳️ ❄️ ☀️
76 76 to finish 6th! It was very windy today 💨 missed a couple of putts on the last 3 holes but all in all it was a fantastic weekend ! 😊 Will be back next year 🇵🇹
What a great design by Robert Trent Jones Snr. A real test of golf! Last time the European Tour came here the cut was 9 over 😅 The course has become easier now as they had to cut over 5,000 pine trees because they had an illness. The par 3s are all very challenging and are key to a good score! Par 5s are a lot of fun as you can cut over trees if you are long enough and leave yourself a long iron to the green. Signature holes are 3, 4 and 14! 😍
1st Portuguese International Mid-Amateur Championship! What a course 😍 76 today and tied 8th!
What a great week representing Golf Club Grand-Ducal at the European Club Trophy at Golf du Médoc Resort! Very happy with my game right now! 73-71-78 to finish 30th in the strongest field I've played this year! Final results: https://bit.ly/2CEERGN Next event is in Troia this weekend where I will be playing the Portuguese Mid-Amateur Championships!
Ready for the 2nd round after 1 hour delay due to fog 🌫 😬
Amazing to have Grégory Havret in Luxembourg! 🇱🇺 Nicest player on Tour! 😊 Guests loved the experience!

Good morning 🏴
One of my favorite courses in the world! Royal Birkdale is as pure as it gets! Every hole is magnificient and your eyes are distracted by nothing else than the design of this course! The first hole (par 4) starts as a double dogleg and will challenge you right from the start as it measures 448 yards and will most probably play against the wind! The 7th hole (par 3) and 8th hole (par 5) are memorable golf holes! The last Open Championship at Birkdale was in 2017 when Jordan Spieth made one of the best comebacks in Open history to beat Matt Kuchar! The clubhouse is also very special as it was built in an art deco style and is completely white from the outside!
I played Lytham during a nice trip to Liverpool with friends four years ago. The course is one of the toughest in The Open Championship rota and will test all of your skills. Pot bunkers are all over the course: on the fairways and greens. You will have to avoid those obstacles off the tee and make sure to hit the green or miss on the right side. The 18th hole was deadly to Adam Scott when he ended up with a 4th bogey in a row to lose to Ernie Els! This place is magic and there’s a lot of history at Lytham! A must play golf course!
Thank you Porsche! 👌🏻
Beautiful day for golf ☀️ ⛳️
