Best memories on this course
The Grande Bastide golf course is one of the Côte d’Azur’s most famous. It is situated at the heart of the region of perfumes, at the foot of the hills of the Niçoise hinterland. Blending perfectly with it’s environment, it offers magnificent views of Grasse, Opio and Châteauneuf de Grasse. Designed by Cabell Robinson, once a partner of Robert Trent Jones Senior, the course is essentially comtemporary. It offers the golfer wide-open fairways and greens protected by numerous bunkers and water obstacles. The course is well kept, compliment to the greenkeeper and his team! The teeboxes, fairways, and especially the greens are in great shape
Saint Donat Golf Club The championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. was inaugurated in 1993. This magnificent 6031 meter 71 par course offers a challenge to all golfers, and will delight them with the diversity of its layout and its landscapes. The fairways are in excellent conditions and the putting greens are very well kept. Spending some time after the round on the club house terrace, overlooking a pond and the final hole, is a great way of enjoying life.
Golf Saint Jean de Monts Amazing mixture between Parkland Course and Links overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Open and wide with challenging obstacles, specially when the wind is blowing. A real pleasure - quite technical with plenty of chips to very raised greens. The Clubhouse and facilities are excellent.
Royal Westmoreland Golf ⛳️ The last course of my holidays The course and facilities are simply quite excellent from the moment that you drop your bag at the entrance through finding your buggy replete with towels, tees, course planner etc and then on to the course. The course itself is quite beautiful with very well kept fairways and challenging greens - and a view of the Carribean Sea on most holes. Some of the par 3s are stunning with challenging tee shots over ravines. The 18th is perhaps the signature hole with a challenging drive to avoid the ravine on the right and then a tempting 2nd shot over the ravine to reach the green. All in all a great value round of golf.
Without a doubt, one of the major attractions of La Zagaleta is its most private, prestigious and exclusive golf course of the Costa del Sol ⛳️ And I got the unique chance to play here. The tee of the first hole is an indication of what, technically speaking, the round of the 18 holes will be like. The peace, tranquillity and silence is only broken occasionally by the sighting of a pheasant, a deer, buck or mouflon, permanent residents in La Zagaleta For sure, playing the La Zagaleta golf course is a unique experience.
Another golf from my wish list is done 😊👏😍🏌 The Green Monkey 🐒 Carved from an old limestone quarry, the exposed rock faces form dramatic contrasts to the lush, rolling greens of the fairways and offer tremendous elevation change - a once in a lifetime experience that is simply not to be missed
Torrequebrada Golf A must for me every time I’m down here. A beautiful Course between the sea and the mountains. A British Parkland Course at the Costa del Sol. Designed by Pepe Gancedo every hole is a different challenge. Even the 3rd hole. This famous Par 3 about 90 meters or 98 yards seems so short and easy. But don’t forget even Seve Ballesteros played a 7 here during the Spanish Open in 1977. So try to beat him 🤪😇 And with a little chance 🍀,like I had, you can play your round with Juan Jimenez, the brother of Miguel Angel. After the round you sit on the terrasse of the Clubhouse with a marvellous view on the 18th hole and the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy typical Spanish food 🥘😘
Played here 2 years ago. Was treated like the world famous golf player. From the beginning when I was entering the gate every thing was just perfect. Everyone tried to make my day even better. Nice driving range in front of the Clubhouse. Course in a very good shape. Fresh fruits and drinks in my golf cart and on the course. Excellent service in the Pro Shop. And the service in the Clubhouse after my round couldn’t be better. Will come back 👍😊😘
