Isleworth Golf and Country Club is famous for having a course designed by Arnold Palmer's firm and for being home to Tiger Woods and a number of other big names in golf. The club offers its members easy access to the Orlando International Airport, seclusion and excellent playing conditions almost every day of the year. The grounds are lovely, among sprawling estates that can be seen but are not a distraction. As might be expected given the exalted membership, Isleworth is a real test of golf, though a variety of tees helps to accommodate various skill levels. Among the more memorable holes are the par 3 2nd and the 18th, which extends 475 yards along one of a number of large ponds back to the clubhouse. Events here include a yearly college invitational and the Tavistock Cup, where Isleworth's top members take on the best of neighboring Lake Nona.
