I like this course and the design of it. It is not too hard to play and always kept in good shape. It is a inner city course, close to the airport and the old Medina, so very easy to get to. The downside is that planes fly over it and the views aren’t as great as many of the other courses in Marrakech. The green fee is reasonable and I think it provides great value for the money.
I recommend this course for tourists that have a half day and need to catch a plane in the afternoon.
Nice course design but that's it. Wild dogs running around on hole 14# 15# 16# residents are jogging on the course not aware of the danger
Fairway and greens in poor conditions for Marrakech. Too bad par 3 4# 8# 11# and 16# are well designed and for once in Marrakech not 240 yards.
Hope the course is going to be in better shape soon ...
The Montgomerie Marrakech is less than 2 years old and offers a nice course design. If you are not a long hitter, this is your course! I played the front nine and although it is not the best course I've played, I really enjoyed my round. Monti managed to create a nice golfing experience with a course that plays fair and does not have any bad holes. The two par 3s (170m & 130m) on the front 9 are a real treat!
The Montgomery Marrakech is the kind of course that will boost your confidence as you can aim for a low score if you manage to read the tricky bermuda greens. The modern clubhouse has two restaurants, one of which js known for serving the best burgers in Marrakech! Enjoy!
