Good links to the A1, M1 and M25, but this charming Herts course is set in peaceful countryside. The Park Course twists and turns up and downhill through mature woodland and a smattering of water on the back nine. The final hole should be savoured from the tee, where a short par-4 invites big hitters to go for the green, though beware the surrounding lake, which stretches back up the fairway on the right hand side to catch wayward tee shots. The clubhouse overlooks the 18th allowing smug golfers to pass judgement on those taking a swim down the last...
A G&T short of absolute perfection
Thoroughly enjoyed the brilliant greens
Beautiful layout, though probably played at the wrong time of year.
Looking forward to tackling the Sea Course again
A good knock on the Stone Course in prep for the Sea Course tomorrow.
Playing at beautiful Linna
Rough and ready, but good value for a backpacker who's missing golf but can't justify expensive rental gear
Built on a vast piece of land, this mountainous course is tough but fair. Keep the driver in the bag and avoid getting into too much trouble...
You can't fail to love Peralada. Especially as there's a Wine Spa to enjoy after your round
An easygoing track with plenty of water and trees to keep you thinking. Clubhouse terrace is ideal for watching golfers play the last.
Epic track! I thoroughly enjoyed the expansive True Blue, not least because I played under my handicap there! I hope to return asap!
Very impressed with this stunner. Three birds helped...
Great day playing 9 on the Links then 9 on the Forest course
Some great golf here for the Open de España 2014. I suspect it won't last until Monday when Gary & I play the Stadium Course
Even I didn't miss this birdie putt!
Played Redbourn Golf Club at the weekend. I shan't reveal my overall score, but closing with three solid regulation pars was pleasing.
