Fabulous

I played this course end of April 2018. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. The service before the round was professional and kind, the golf course is placed in a beautiful Szenerie - you are hitting your ball surrounded by mountains and forest, no streets with loud noise disturbing your peace. This won’t be our last visit here. I can only recommend this place.

Average

A course for high hcp players. The first few holes are similar and easy to play. No difficult bunkers or water in your way. Hole number 11 is a Little tricky u need to have the right ball placement of the tee and your second shot. Greens are no more than average. But you can easily play the course under 3,5 h (3ball)

Fabulous

Hamburg has some beautiful golf courses and this is one of the best. Wendlohe has 36 holes and it’s a course where playing a driver can bring you in some trouble. Teeing it up and having to think about the right club is not typical for a german course which makes it rich in diversity. You have long holes and also very short drivable holes. Every hole is different. The greens are challenging but fair. From the terrace you have a wonderful view on two finishing greens. When I am back in Hamburg I will play the course again.

Fabulous

Winston Open is a stunning golf course. Everyone is talking about the links course but for me this course has so many beautiful highlights. It has Bavarian characteristics (a little beautiful river crossing a couple holes) as much as Australien features (tee shots from different heights). It’s perfectly embedded in to its surrounding nature. Has huge challenging greens, sometimes you really need to be creative to have a successful putt. 💪 Furthermore the range has many target greens - it’s fun to practice. The clubhouse has a Scandinavian touch, nice terrace to sit and enjoy your drink after a round of golf. 😊 It’s a “must visit”
