Fabulous

The journey to Borrego Springs is through a moonlike area is already a great experience. The course designed by Tom Fazio is a real gem. Not too difficult but with treacherous hazards mainly bunkers nicely positioned you need your best shors to score well.. I played twice and each time the maintenance was excellent and the greens in perfect condition, but difficult to read . A great golfing experience worth the journey from LA, San Diego or the Coachella Valley

Very good

Nice holiday course not difficult to play and to walk with some breathtaking views on the ocean. The maintenance was very good and the greens in excellent condition. The succession of holes is a bit messy but the move of the first tee beside the practice and the hotel was a good one.

Very good

Excellent design in a difficult landscape. The permanent brise from the ocean makes the course quite challenging but interesting and fun to play. Unfortunately the maintenance was a bit neglected and in particular the tees were in poor shape.

Fabulous

Beautiful golf course in desert landscape. Tough and long you are never at rest on the Firecliff course and every missed shot can get you in real trouble. The greens are tough to read, but great to roll the ball on. The 17 is a great par 3 with water all along the right hand side and nicely placed bunkers on the left. Once you survived the 18th you are rewarded on the nice patio overlooking the 9th and 18th green by the cuisine of a French cook.

Fabulous

One of the best links courses of continental Europe. Fantastic setting, impressive views, great course design and excellent maintenance make it an unforgettable golfing experience. Under normal wind conditions it is a real test of golf. When the wind comes up, which frequently happens it becomes a monster. It is a pity that the course has no driving range to warm up prior moving on the arena!

Very good

For a long period, Mandelieu Old Course has been the jewel of the Côte d'Azur golf courses, but unfortunately the maintenance of the course is just meeting average standards. This being said, the course remains fun to be played and if you are not easily disturbed by the side noises from the passing TGV or the camping and beach on the other side, you can have a great time at Mandelieu.
