Alfred H. Tull, A. W. Tillinghast
The Blue Course is another A.W. Tillinghast creation, redesigned in 1960 by Alfred Tull to allow room for the Yellow Course. With a challenging front 9, and more relaxed back 9, it is a fantastic intermediate level course for those not looking for the punishment a course like the Black or Red can provide. With a par of 72, slope of 124, rating of 71.7, and running 6638 yards from the back tees (6158 from the fronts, 5406 from the regulation tees), it is certainly no slouch. It is a great course to polish your skills on before tackling one of the more difficult courses at Bethpage.
