When I played the Faldo the first time, it still was called "The Wadi" and none of the skyscrapers around the club existed. In fact the only buildings have been the Majilis Clubhouse and the Hard Rock Café – which today doesn’t exist anymore. The course is a nice course with plenty of desert elements. Gras and greens have been in perfect condition. It’s a course above average but nothing really special. In comparison to the other highlights in the Dubai golf world it looses a bit. It’s one of the few courses that offers nightgolf.
Very long & challenging course as the most of Mr. Faldo's course designs.
Nice to play, good condition although some grain on the greens. (January 2017)
Interesting: This course has 18 Holes floodlight to play at night.
Course is played with gps controlled carts only.
The views of the Jumeriah Marina is spectercular.
Emirates Golf has a great Club House, one of the best I have seen.
Favorite Hole : Nr. 4, very narrow landing zone in the fairway well protected, dogleg right. 2nd shot into the green which is well protected by water on the right and 2 Bunkers. Tough!
