Club de Campo Villa de Madrid lies just outside of Spain's capital, Madrid. The Club is considered to be one of the largest sport clubs in the Europe. Villa de Madrid is one of Spain's most impressive golf complexes with outstanding training facilities and two nice courses.
The Black, designed by Javier Arana, is the main course. The Black Course is a regular European tour venue and the better of the two layouts, thanks to its dramatic terrain and some sound design work from Spain's most decorated golf architect. Built on either side of a road, the course is noted for its tumbling ground contours and some interesting green complexes. Manuel Pinero did some minor bunkering restyling here in 2002, but mostly the track remains as Arana had intended.
