DeBordieu Club features a championship 18-Hole golf course designed by Pete and P. B. Dye. Noted as one of Pete and P. B. Dyes favorite designs, the links style course at DeBordieu has been consistently ranked among the top 10 private clubs in South Carolina.
The golf course opened in 1987 and features an outstanding mix of Pete Dye's design qualities set in the beauty of the South Carolina Low Country and surrounded by an abundance of natural wildlife.
Since its opening, DeBordieu Club has been host to many regional championships including the Carolinas Mid-Amateur, the South Carolina Women's Amateur, Carolinas Senior Amateur, and U. S. Open local qualifying.
The highly regarded links course plays to 7,284 yards from the championship tees, and offers six sets of tees which provide enjoyable golf for players of all abilities. During the summer of 2014, the entire golf course was resurfaced under the watchful eye of P. B. Dye. Besides all new tee complexes, the resurfacing included MiniVerde bermuda greens, Celebration bermuda in the fairways and roughs, and new sand in the bunkers. The new grasses have brought the course back to its origin and offers a wonderfully consistent course condition year round.
