With a gigantic clubhouse one could expect more... not a very friendly atmosphere but then again who cares as long as the golf is great!(but it wasn’t:(
Tee’s were ok, fairways wet and damp(well it rains a lot here so understandable).
The greens were slooow, stimp 7,7 but felt a lot slower then that. They did look good though and the ball was rolling nicely, but slowly🙄
Par 72, 5850m from the backtee. On paper it looks easy but it’s narrow and very hilly.
If you have a slice in the bag you will have trouble all day long with nine holes having OB down the right hand fairway all the way...
The club is more then 100 years old so I guess my expectations were to high?
I mean an old club should know how to handle all the daily ”golf” problems like slow play, etc But with two Marshalls driving around the course not managing to let people through, speed other players up etc it looked like they had no clue...
Well I’ve played it(a bit to long for my liking) but I don’t think I’ll go there again. Greenfee was 130€’s incl a cart, nothing more.
Singapore is expensive but that’s not value for money.
I give it three stars but I wish 2,5 stars was a possibility. 2 is way too little but 3 seems a bit to much🤔...
Not sure better score, better pace, faster greens and if they threw in a bottle of water in the greenfee would help but they can try that for next golfer who goes here!
