Weymouth Country Club features a championship par 72 18-hole golf course located in Medina, Ohio. The Club sits on the grounds of a former apple orchard, which in 1969 was transformed into the reputable golf course it is today. The original course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish after becoming a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. The course is meticulously maintained by Certified Superintendent Ken Aukerman, who has worked at Weymouth for over 40 years.
Expansive, undulating, bent grass greens average over 7,500 sq. ft. and are tailored to test the skills and abilities of even the most experienced golfer. Each hole begins from one of five sets of bent grass tee boxes, which were designed to accommodate a range of playing abilities. As such, the course ranges from 5,200 to 7,100 yards. From the moment that the first ball is struck until the last putt drops, Weymouth Country Club provides a golfing experience which is simultaneously challenging and unfailingly exhilarating.
Members of Weymouth Country Club enjoy two different 18 hole championship course layouts. The course at Weymouth is very traditional in its layout with tight tree lined fairways, a few dog-legs, providing a fun, challenging golf round for players of all abilities. Your dual membership has privileges at Fox Meadow Country Club, where you may also enjoy a round on Links-Style course. The wide open fairways with minimal trees on the course provide a excellent round of golf.
Weymouth aims to enhance the pleasure, challange and camaraderie of golf for its Members, while honoring the tradition and customs of the game. It is a Club for those who love the game, regardless of skill, and who want to be part of a great golf institution.
