Reid Park Golf Course is managed by The National Trail Parks & Recreation District for the City of Springfield. The facility consists of an exceptional 36-hole layout (South Course/North Course), a driving range with fifty grass hitting stations and a bunker station, an extensive pro shop, two large putting greens, a sizeable area consisting of a scoreboard and pavilion, and a restaurant that is home to the "Best Burger in Town".
Reid Park Golf Course was built in 1967 on rolling farm land once owned by the Reid family. The 450 acres that make the "amazing" property has many wooded areas and several ponds that have helped carve the holes we have today. Tha facility has hosted the NCAA Division III Tournament, OHSAA Sectional qualifying tournaments, and has been the local qualifier for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship.
