The real star of the show at Potter's Park Golf Course is the high quality of the course design. This course has a long tradition that dates back to 1927, and our course design honors our nearly 90 years of tradition. Our course also has multiple tee lengths to help players of all age and skill levels feel both competitive and relaxed as they navigate through this picturesque setting and improve their skills within the classic game of golf.
The front 9 at Potter's Park is a standard par 36 layout with two par 5's, two par 3's and five par 4's. The finishing hole on the front 9 is a challenging 200+ yard par 3 straight up hill, which makes the hole play closer to 250 yards.
Do not let the short yardage and par 33 on the back 9 fool you. Longer hitters can take advantage of the short par 4's, but the par 3's are among the toughest holes in the tri-state area. Our tree lined fairways require precise tee shots and the relatively small-sized greens require accurate approach shots. Getting to the green in regulation is only half the battle as our greens have subtle breaks which are difficult to read; even to the most well-trained eye.
