The North Course extends across 86 hectares and has been created to fulfill the requirements of international professional tournaments since its opening in 2008. With a length of 7,165 meters from the championship tee, it is the European Tour’s largest course and one of the ten largest courses in the world.
Apart from the lengths, water constitutes one of the biggest challenges with regard to the modern and unique North Course. 17 courses include water hazards that partly line the courses from the tee shot and along the beautiful fairways to the green. Bunkers have been strategically placed close to the green in order to challenge each player at the highest level.
According to the DGV’s course rating, the North Course is the most difficult one from the championship tee in Germany. Four tee shots are available at each hole offering the appropriate challenge for all playing abilities.
A lot of experience was gained through the organization of eight international professional tournaments, e.g. the European Challenge Tour in 2010.This experience is used to further develop the entire area, particularly regarding the North Course.
You can have a perfect look at the players from numerous natural grandstands!
Experience the “Green Monster” – as the North Course was once called by Alice Cooper – and watch world-class players live at the Green Eagle Golf Courses within the framework of the Porsche European Open from 26th to 30th July 2017!
