Hamilton J. Stutt
Our 18 hole, 6,671 yard course is a delight to play. With a mix of lakes and woodland it is the perfect picturesque setting. The course was designed by James Hamilton-Stutt, grandson of one of the greatest golf course designers, James Braid. This makes being referred to as the “best laid out course in the North East” a very impressive feat. The course is said to be one of the most challenging tests of golf in the North, with numerous water hazards and tree-lined fairways it often catches out the more prestigious of players. Whether it’s the early sunrise or the crisp orange sunset the course looks incredibly inviting and there’s one thing for sure, we’re glad to call it home.
