An attractive par 71, 18 hole The original 9 hole course was created in 1983. The course is located on the south bank of the picturesque River Deben, half way along its navigable length from Woodbridge to Felixstowe.Waldringfield was extended to 18 holes in 1987, creating an picturesque flat heathland course. Now measuring 6,046 yards from the white tees it offers an enjoyable challenge. It is particularly attractive to older golfers given its flat nature and the ability to use powered trolleys or buggies all year round.Nature provides the main hazards in the form of gorse, which covers the entire course. This prickly shrub with its attractive yellow flowers and delicious almond scent is in bloom for most of the year.
