The Hollows & Ruffet Courses were opened in 1997 to much critical acclaim. Designed by Adrian Stiff they both feature plenty of water and these holes were voted in the top 10 new British courses in 1998 by Golf World. The Peter McEvoy-designed Badminton Course was opened in 2001, built to complement its sister courses whilst adding an extra degree of challenge with its undulating greens. Our greens are well known for their quality and accuracy, built to USGA standards and tended-to by a very professional team of greenstaff. In 2009 the club hosted the Reid Trophy for the EGU, with Ewan Scott becoming the European under-14 boys champion. It has also been the venue for EuroPro and Jamega Tour events, as well as the Gloucestershire County Championships in 2008.The Kendleshire is a regional centre of excellence for practicing, our extensive facilities often being used by the county and national teams, whilst our dedicated team of Professional Staff between them cover the broad range of golf tuition.
