It is a par 72 18-hole course designed and constructed by St Mellion Leisure the development arm of St Mellion International, the home of the first Jack Nicklaus Course in Europe and hosts to the Benson & Hedges International Open Golf Tournament. Gently undulating with no hills or gradients and therefore attractive to golfers of all ages and abilities, sensitively designed to be environmentally attractive with thousands trees planted and wildlife habitats created. The greens are generally large and provided a quality-putting surface. Fairways are wide and generous. All the tees are elevated including the forward tees but the greatest feature is the superb drainage and at 6,300 yards still provides a testing round of golf.
