Our superb championship length 18 hole, 6798 yard par-72 course was designed by world renowned architect Donald Steel and opened in 1992 providing a golfing challenge for players of all abilities and you will enjoy hitting to generous fairways and well-protected greens. Set in 180 acres of tranquil parkland lined with magnificent old oak and beech trees and six picturesque lakes, Lambourne provides ones of the region’s best golfing challenges. The 18 hole, par 72 course measures 6798 yards from the back tees and provides 3 other sets of tees to suit golfers of all levels of ability. Constructed on subsoil consisting of chalk and gravel, the course boasts exceptional drainage and provides the best year-round playing conditions in the area, rarely closing or playing on temporary greens. All greens, tees and fairways are irrigated from a two million gallon lake and bore hole yielding more than four thousand gallons per hour, thus enabling our experienced greenkeepers to provide the highest quality playing conditions all year round.
