The golf course is laid out over almost 60 acres, a very generous area for a 9 holes and at a yardage of 6152 and par 70 over 18 holes, the course is set out to a specification equivalent of any of the best courses in Sussex. With 8 lakes that appear in play on all but one of the holes, the course plots its way around the mature trees and hazards posing questions to all standards of golfer. The raw beauty and peace of Foxbridge belies the skill needed to produce your best score without getting into trouble. If you can play 18 holes, three par fives, ten par fours and five par threes encompass all the options and as your round develops you will need all the 14 clubs in the bag to complete the task. Our undulating but flat piece of real estate means that one can enjoy the golf, and the exercise, without feeling you need time to recuperate afterwards. Although the course extends to only 9 holes, on each there are very generous double greens that allow us two flag positions thereby creating different challenges the second time round. New back 9 tees complete the variation on each hole. We pride ourselves on the condition in which we present the course. Our head green keeper is proud to boast that Foxbridge will be able to compete with any of our competitors not only in respect of the quality of the green surface but also in terms of the playability of the course throughout the 12 months of the year. When the course was built, a comprehensive infrastructure of drainage was installed. As the years have gone by it is obvious that this has been added to, such that now the course is probably the most free draining, bar the links of the south coast, in Southern England. So, the hardy golfer will never be let down by the course for their game. Even in the worst of conditions, our generous teeing areas allow for grass tees throughout the year avoiding the need for synthetic tees at any time.
