Yes, from Monday - Friday (except public holidays).

The original course was built on part of the Hewell Grange Estate, owned by Viscount Windsor, and a local golf professional, C W Cunningham, was commissioned, for a fee of £1.5s.0d, to plan the original nine hole lay-out.

After completing a lease, and then later a purchase agreement, of 102 acres in 1923, the Club appointed Herbert Fowler and Tom Simpson to design the 18 holes that exist today. What Fowler and Simpson achieved at Blackwell on a relatively small acreage is a tribute to their skills.

Today, Blackwell is a traditional English mature parkland course measuring 6260 yards from the white tees with a par of 70.

Nice track, amazing they’ve built a course on such a small piece of land although you know it on most holes as most tees & greens are very close together. Very interesting layout, wonderful but difficult greens (especially some of today’s flag positions), an excellent variety of holes & in very superb condition. Fabulous bunkering throughout & a course you have to think your way around. Highly recommend playing here however long socks only allowed.... seriously?? Generally in life I like tradition, quirkiness & things that are a little odd but how can anyone in the 20th, let alone the 21st century, be offended by socks that are shorter than knee height! Utterly ludicrous! And there was nothing to eat except for tuna sandwiches in the bar! However, still a super day & delighted to have played here, despite my long trousers on a hot summers afternoon.
