Pete Dye, Jack Corrie
The course begins very friendly with a short par 5 although the first nine holes are the most difficult and long. In general, Cayacoa has 5 par 5s and 5 par 3s, to balance a par 72 course which is made of zoysia grass and bermuda grass on the greens. The greens have a speed between 7 and 9 and the field in general has many undulations. Due to the type of grass mentioned above and the humid climate of the heart of Santo Domingo, the course plays very long despite having less than 7,000 yards from the black tees. The back-9 offers several opportunities, but they are very dangerous, because of the numerous trees and 5 holes with water.
