The first Nicklaus design in Denmark.
I was there in July this year.
It was dry like all other courses this summer but still green where it’s supposed to be. The rough became a little bit easier to hit from because of the dry surface.
The course is a hit! 5 tee’s to choose from, 4562m-6775m. Something for everybody even though I think the high handicappers will struggle on a few holes.
It’s an open course buildt on a field with a huge hill on which half of the course lingers up and down on.
7 man made lakes comes into play, fast greens in great condition and big bunkers, yep high hcp will struggle but will also have fun!
Greenfee was 900 dkr which is roughly 130€’s.
The clubhouse is supercool! I’ll put an album up soon.
Driving range where danish former Ryder Cup player Sören Hansen will guide us hackers. Also in mint conditon of course.
Add the hotel with it’s rooms built into the sanddunes, a spa, a 9 hole Academy Course and you are almost there😎
But what surprized me was that they have their own microbrewery!! Great Northern beer, that is respect!
The lunch that came with the beers was of course Great!
Denmark is expensive that is the only downside...
Still worth going there though!!
