The Course at Round Hill Club opened in 1922 when designer Walter Travis laid out the fairways. In the mid 60's, Robert Trent Jones Sr. also worked on Round Hill Club's terrain. He especially made changes to the par three 11th by adding a water hazard to the hole. The club is located in the prestigious community of Greenwich, the course belongs to a very exclusive and private club where members are almost all residents of a rather affluent community. It's said that only 12,000 rounds per year are played on this par 71. Today's layout has not changed that much since 1922, measuring 6,525 yards from the back tees.
