The 6,612 yard golf course was originally designed by William Watson and Bill Bell. In 2007, Golf Magazine’s 1999 Renovation Architect of the Year, Brian Silva, directed a major renovation of the course. An extensive new drainage and irrigation system was added to enhance a turf grass maintenance program that is synonymous with Championship Golf. The project also saw the removal of trees and undergrowth that had become undesirable and overgrown through the years. This allows for a variety of playing conditions and vistas that many golfers have come to enjoy. Members and their guests will find the course to be appealing to all levels of golfers with various tee combinations, unique bunkering and challenging putting surfaces. All of these features add up to a fantastic golf experience that will be enjoyed by future generations of Annandale members.
