course description

The Milano Golf Club, started by Italian politician Giuseppe Bevione, was the third club ever built in the country, having been motivated by the visit of Britons Peter Gannon and Cecil Blandford to Milan in 1928. Later, the founder's descendants Franco and his daughter Isa Bevione became renowned in post-war Italian golf. Located less than twenty miles from Milan to the north, the club boasts a full twenty-seven holes laid out on what is for the most part level parkland. Before the Italian Open moved to more contemporary courses it was frequently played at the Milano, and the club continues to attract the Italian Amateur Championship. The combined Primo+Secundo course offers broad, tree-lined fairways, sculpted greens and strategic bunkers, while the woods lend a serene, self-contained feel to the holes. Players at any skill level will have fun here, and all will enjoy the vintage, spacious hunting lodge-turned-clubhouse.

Great challenging course. You need to be precise to join the small greens wich are all well protected by lots of bunkers. Nice staff....Superb Clubhouse!
