Terramar is an enjoyable golf course to play as it is surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation and is mainly flat, with mildly undulated fairways on only four holes. Golfers face a course that concentrates the difficulties on the first and final holes, where there are wood copses, water hazards and a dry river that crosses the course. The sea is present on most of the holes, partly in the form of the pleasant views that accompany the player during most of the round and partly through its influence on the fall of the greens that otherwise have little movement. Overall Terramar is a straightforward course that rewards good shots, but a bad tee shot can seriously complicate the rest of the hole.
