course description

The Grove Golf Course exemplifies the best in modern golf course architecture. Spread out over three hundred acres on an old estate just inside the M25 motorway, the course lies on challenging terrain that is flat at the top with a steep descent toward a river and encompasses another field across a roadway. Nevertheless, American architect Kyle Phillips found a way to situate eighteen gorgeous holes there, American in style, and replete with eye-catching naturalistic features. The average player might be intimidated, but the world's best took the course by storm in 2006, with none other than Tiger Woods winning with an astounding 27 under par. We could give the experts more of a challenge by tightening up the targets, narrowing the fairways and greens, and increasing the space between the tees and the back markers as they work their way over the Grove's 7100 yards.

(Fabulous)

Great course (especially the final holes), in great condition. Would really recommend playing it twice, as it gets better and better every time you play it.
