The course is north of Marrakesh. On some whole you see the moutains between the houses. Greens were in great conditions in December 2019. Nice how the practice area is arranged with ball set up etc. - but that's most in Marokko
The course is ideally located in La Palmeraie of Marrakech. It is surrounded by multiple types of trees and it makes the course peaceful. However it hasn't been the best golf experience I had in Marrakech. The course is crowded (starts every 5 minutes), and the maintenance could be better. Despite being a RTJ's design, the course is pretty flat and greens are not heavily bunkered. My favorite hole is the 18th, a par 4 with elevated green heading back to the club house. All in all I must say I was a bit disappointed by the experience here, and that La Palmeraie is not one of Robert Trent Jones' best designs.
