Bush Hill Park Golf Club is fortunate to have been designed by two of the greatest players in the history of the game Harry Vardon and James Braid, winning 11 Open Championships between them. Most of the holes are set in level or gently sloping locations. The exception is the descent to play the 17th and the climb up the 18th fairway. The par 70 course is 5776 yards long playing from the white tees and measures 5110 yards from the ladies’ tee. The 12th hole, played from the ladies' tee is just over 500 yards, making it, for the ladies, one of the longest par 5 holes in Middlesex. Improvements are continually being made to the course. In recent years the 17th and 18th holes have been improved. The 17th with its lake to the front and side of the green and the 18th with its elevated two tier green means that the accuracy of ones approach shot is now far more critical. In early 2012 the second fairway was redefined and over the last three years many trees have been planted.
