Albany Golf Club offers a broad variety of amenities, including an Ernie Els designed 18-hole championship golf course. The 7,400-yard links-style course plays through windswept dunes and stands out by a number of scenic and strategically placed challenging water features.
Many well-known Pro golfers are members of Albany, such as Tiger Woods, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Tim Clark, Ernie Els or Trevor Immelman.
Without any doubt Albany is a pure golf experience in the Bahamas.
The practice facilities are one of the most impressive that I've ever seen. Albany, which offers 600 oceanside acres, is a links-style course brightly made for PGA players and not for high handicappers. The fairways were firm and gave you lots of roll which was great and all except for the fact that I kept hitting fairway and watching my ball roll too much times into bunkers or wasteland.
I'd highlight that there are five tee positions on every hole.
